Keystone knew it had a hit on its hands in 2022 with the Arcadia. It was, in fact, named the “2022 RV of the Year” by RVBusiness magazine. But even with that success, designers didn’t quite have what they wanted.
District Sales Manager Dustin Tavernier said the original idea of the Arcadia was to come in with a half-ton towable fifth-wheel. So, with the award-winning initial model under their belts, engineers went back to the drawing board. The result is the Arcadia Super Lite with the 293SLRD model earning Top Debut honors. Checking in at 29 feet, 3 inches long, the model weighs only 7,400 pounds.
Solar power is a big deal throughout Keystone, and Arcadia Super Lite is no exception with seven inverted outlets throughout the coach feeding off the Solar Flex system.
Inside, a well-appointed interior features a 40-inch HDTV with Furrion soundbar, fireplace, large dinette, ample storage and enormous windows on the off side. A 12-volt Furrion refrigerator stands out in the kitchen as well as a large pantry. The air conditioner is a Blade Pure quiet cool system. Other features include upgraded window treatments, an extra-large shower with a seat and HyperDeck laminated flooring throughout the fifth wheel that sheds all water.
True to the Arcadia design, the Super Lite front cap leans forward rather than back, which helps create a tremendous amount of space in the bedroom.
“It’s really jam-packed in 29 feet with a wardrobe slide and theater seats slide,” Tavernier said. “The natural lighting also helps it feel more open. We produced one without the window in the kitchen area and, wow, what a difference — it now feels like you have a lot of elbow room around the stove.” MSRP starts at around $61,000.
