Della Terra LE 175BH
The 175BH is a familiar double-over-double bunkbed floorplan with a Murphy bed up front. A three-piece bathroom and dinette slideout opposite the galley and entry door complete configuration. Pass-through storage, a 14-foot awning and a 10.7-cubic-foot two-door refrigerator are among the features.
All that in a unit that will retail for less than $20,000, said East To West General Manager Matt Olds, who oversees the Della Terra brand.
While the LE series might hit the market at a more affordable price, that’s not to say the units will compromise on the quality, features and functionality that East To West has become known for.
The whole idea, Olds pointed out, is to get more people out camping. “You don’t necessarily need a TV to do that. You don’t necessarily need an outside kitchen,” he said.
Olds said the LE series is a “natural progression” for the four-year-old Della Terra brand.
Reflecting, no doubt, input from consumers, Olds said a lot of the company’s dealers have wanted more out of East To West than just a traditional conventional trailer. “They want something at a lower price point, they want something lighter on weight and features, they want single-axle products that we really haven’t been able to do the last couple years because of COVID and the demand and lack of parts.”
However, with supply chain issues mostly in the rearview mirror — plus a new production facility dedicated to the Della Terra brand — he said the time was right to develop the LE series.
