Roadmaster is a true manufacturer — we literally take raw steel and turn it into finished product. In fact, Roadmaster controls virtually every aspect of manufacturing our products, from tow bars and braking systems to sway bars and more. That includes everything from the brackets for our base plates to the diodes and power cords in our braking systems. And then we paint and package our products. In-house.

And, we test everything we make. Not 1 out of every 100, or 1 out of every 50. Every. Single. One.

Why? Because as our founder is fond of saying, “You can’t tack on ‘quality’ at the end. You have to build it in.”

What does it take to control every phase of design, engineering and manufacturing? Well, consider:

• Roadmaster owns more than 1,200 jigs just for the brackets used to attach tow bars to vehicles. These jigs allow us to manufacture brackets for approximately 2,000 years’ worth of years, makes and models.
• Roadmaster makes its own stamping dies, to make products faster.
• Roadmaster utilizes more than a dozen CNC turning machines — where lengths of steel are turned into finished parts — 21 welding booths and computerized bending equipment for manufacturing parts such as sway bars.

These are all things we could have done overseas for a lot less money — but we don’t. With Roadmaster controlling the entire manufacturing process, our customers are assured that every Roadmaster product will perform as it should.

And we do all this right here in the USA, with American workers. Always have, always will.
